Join Us for the 4th Coffee Meeting Session!

We’re thrilled to invite you to the 4th session of the Coffee Meeting, scheduled on Friday, July 18th, 2025, from 17:30 to 19:00 in the Agricultural Science Research Building, 2F Common Space (E217). This relaxed and interactive gathering is intended to spark meaningful conversations between students and researchers over—you guessed it—coffee!

This session’s theme is:
“Beyond the Classroom: The Town and Gown Connection – Bridging Research, Society, and Real-life Impact.”
We’ll be exploring how academic research can move beyond papers and labs to create real change in the world around us.

We’re delighted to welcome Dr. Richard Omidiwura, a lecturer and researcher from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, as our speaker. With a background in animal science, nutritional biochemistry, and phytochemistry, Dr. Omidiwura brings a unique perspective on how research can tackle real-world challenges and inspire innovation. He’ll be sharing personal insights and stories that highlight the powerful link between academia and society.

Whether you’re curious about making your research more impactful or want to connect with others over a warm cup of your chosen beverage, this is the place to be. We hope to see you there!
